Maundy Thursday Service

7:00 pm at the Grand Avenue Temple

On the Thursday before Easter, Christians around the world mark the Last Supper of Jesus. We call it Maundy Thursday from the Latin word for "mandate" or "command" because at the Last Supper Jesus gave several final commands to his disciples - to love one another, to serve one another and to remember him through the breaking of the bread.

Through this powerful worship service we will remember the final 24 hours of Jesus’ life on earth, and we will share Holy Communion in remembrance of the Last Supper.
