We invite you to join us on the greatest journey of your life – The Journey of Knowing, Loving and Serving God – as we strive to become a community of deeply committed Christians. We know that sometimes getting started can be daunting, especially in such a large church, but we want to travel this journey with you. Our Adult Discipleship Ministry offers you a navigation system that provides directions, routes and traveling companions to support and encourage you along the way. We believe that nothing in the world will bring you greater joy, greater challenge and greater meaning than the journey into life as God intended us to live it.

 
Knowing God means becoming theologically informed: growing in insight and understanding as continual students of our faith.

Loving God includes being spiritually transformed: opening ourselves to being changed from the inside-out through the work of the Holy Spirit.

Serving God is about making a difference: living out our faith daily in the world through our words and actions.

Where Do I Start?

Not everyone starts the Journey at the same place or in the same way. For many, worship is the first step on the journey of faith. You may have started by serving in missions, or maybe you attended a class, or a support group.

One way to begin your Journey is with the Alpha course. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and connect with our leaders and also with other participants who, just like you, are beginning to explore what it means to be a deeply committed Christian.

Resurrection Downtown also offers small groups to help you connect with others on The Journey of Knowing, Loving and Serving God. Check out some of our Group Life opportunities.
