“Brian McLaren speaks about the “trajectory of scripture”–that we don’t live in the first century. We don’t try to force our culture into the first century culture. What we look at is, “What is the trajectory of scripture?” And when we ask this question we see that the trajectory was that women were the daughters of God. The same Holy Spirit speaks through women as men. There is neither male nor female in Christ! God needs all of his children to do his work.
